Would you like to contribute to a good cause ?

After weeks of preparing for 'The Exit', we finally made it! Nine subdivisions have recorded their exists so far with Washington County, disassociating with the DVLA. This was truly a grassroots effort, and the support of so many concerned landowners made it all possible.

While this progress is worthy of celebration, there is still more work to be done as more subdivisions undertake the steps to leave the DVLA. And even with all the hard work and dedication of volunteers, certain legal fees and recording expenses occurred to exit the Association, including the evaluation of our governing documents, creating the ballots and acquiring legal termination notices from a qualified HOA attorney.

To date, the Exit Initiative has incurred $1300 in legal bills. Considering the costs incurred by the Meadows and Ranches subdivisions last year, this has been a relatively inexpensive journey for the current subdivisions exiting or exploring their exits now.

Many landowners have asked how they can contribute to the Exit Initiative's legal expenses, and while none of the owners in the exiting subdivisions are required to contribute, we do appreciate any contributions to help defray the costs associated with the Initiative.

We have created the option to make an online contribution via PayPal or Credit/Debit Card. If you would like to make a donation of any amount ... and any amount helps ... please use the "Make a Contribution" button below.  Once we reach our goal of $1300, we will turn off the contribution link.  Please note this is a contribution to cover legal expenses and not a tax deductible contribution*. If you prefer to contribute per check or cash, or if you have any questions, please contact anyone of the Initiative Coordinators of the subdivisions.

We appreciate any contributions, and everyone's hard work and support at making the
Exit Initiative a success!
